The Missing Pet Registry was started by Vicky Vaughan.

Vicky is the Pet detective. She helps people who have lost their pets. Vicky has had much success reuniting lost cats and dogs with their owners.

Vicky wanted to help people all over Noth America find their pets that have gone missing. Since travelling with her dogs all over Canada and the USA would not be good for her dogs (that she has trained to search for cats & dogs), and Vicky is already quite busy in her home-town tracking down lost pets she thought starting an online database would be a great way for people to find their lost pets.

At the Missing Pet Registry, people can submit pets they have found or have lost to the registry. There is no cost for this service, and you are not required to sign up as a member on the website. The only time you will be asked for your contact information is when you submit a lost or found pet to the registry.
